A first-time restauranteur, De Marco combines her passion for Argentine cuisine with her strong business acumen. With the restaurant Buenos Aires, she brings a piece of her native city to New York. Her goal is to offer quality food at reasonable prices in a charmingwarm and homey atmosphere.
The dining room is warmly lit and inviting, with exposed brick and walls painted in earthy tones of terra cotta and cream, hardwood floors, dark wood chairs and tables and dark wood framed mirrors. Argentina is evoked with black and white photographs of traditional scenes of the city of Buenos Aires; a cowhide seating area in the back of the dining room; and a display of Argentine wines behind the bar. Argentinean tunes and cool international sounds will add to the authentic Buenos Aires vibe. And in warm weather, diners can enjoy dinner on the outdoor garden patio
